• Notifications of forthcoming auctions via e-mail (and occasionally by telephone) or other occasional auction news or information relating to philately, including replying to enquiries from clients. We regularly send out auction newsletters to our subscribers.  We currently use the mailing service ‘MailChimp’. Our newsletter sign-up includes Name, Email Address, Postal Address and Phone Number.
• to carry out any other obligations arising from us acting as your agent in auctions, including communicating your contact details to auctioneers on request when we are bidding on your behalf. When bidding at auction, auctioneers require names, postal addresses and e-mail addresses of bidders which we pass on at the latest time possible to keep bids confidential.
• contacting you by telephone or email on matters arising directly from your bids.

We will not sell, share or pass your data to any third party or any other person or body without your written consent. Clients’ personal data is kept on a secure internet-based database lodged with a recognized major internet services provider.

Analytics

Retention Periods

The retention periods for personal information will be reviewed annually, and your details will be held for as long as you are a client or ask to be removed from our mailing list.
